Continuing on the topic of creativity...
I've seen creativity at its best in mythology. I believe in just one God - a nameless, formless God. [It's God - what other name do you want?]
Before I go ahead, let me make it totally clear here, I mean no offence to anyone. I am just voicing my thoughts.
I remember once during our history classes back in school, we decided to sit back and have an informal discussion. There, my history teacher told us that there is just one God. But people in ancient times weren't too happy with that concept. They thought, "Huh? One God? He'd be bored for sure. And no name? What crap ! We'll give him a name, and yes, He isn't the only one up there. I bet he has friends and family". And so evolved Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu with their wives and children who, by the way weren't born like normal kids. They were born out of super powers, like a light from Shiva or the turmeric from Parvati's body etc. (I am talking about Hinduism here because I know nothing about other religions).
Each of these Gods were given their set of duties, Brahma was to create the universe, Shiva destroyed it and Vishnu eradicated sins. The kids had jobs too.
So if they had a nice happy adventurous family, what is happening out there now? What is happening in heaven? Did Ganesha get married? Did Krishna have kids? What is Hanuman doing now? And why isn't anyone coming down anymore to eradicate the sins that have manifolded a million times more than what it used to be centuries ago?
Where are all the story tellers? Why has the creativity come to a standstill up there?
